@dougieisbamf Plain Styrofoam would not work. I mean you could make a plane out of it and it would be able to fly if you did it right, but it would be very brittle and a high G turn could easily snap the wings. Any crash would destroy it completely. Insulation foam board works for cheap foam planes, you can get it at home depot or walmart.

So many RTF’s I have bought I end up changing everything, because battery is NICD motor has no power and of course going to brushless have to get ESC, this plane looks like it has good parts out of box

you should try adding a couple vents on the body wing and tail so you can take off in hover mode then start flying like a real plane
