Embraer certifies and delivers first Phenom 300E, new model of most-delivered light business jet for past 6 years Melbourne, Florida, March 29, 2018 – Embraer has delivered the first new Phenom 300E business jet, having received its type certificate in the first quarter from the U.S. Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), and the Brazilian Civil Aviation Agency (ANAC – Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil). The new light jet model was launched—and debuted—at the 2017 National Business Aviation Association’s Business Aviation Conference and Exhibition (NBAA-BACE), in October 2017. Gulfstream’s G600, the newest addition to its large-cabin fleet, made its public debut at the 2017 NBAA show in Las Vegas. The company revealed that the performance of the jet is better than initially expected. The test aircraft features a full production interior, and Tray Crow, director of interior design gave AIN a tour. FAA type certification is expected in 2018, with deliveries beginning later that year.
